This website has been developed by Housing Rights Service and aims to provide reliable independent housing advice and information to the public in Northern Ireland. The website is supported by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. This is a unique resource in Northern Ireland which will help people find answers to their housing problems and assist in the prevention of homelessness. Since its launch in 2004 housingadviceNI has been continually adapting and expanding its content according to user needs and developments in the housing sector. In 2005/06 the site attracted over quarter of a million page views. This represents significant web traffic and shows how useful the resource is for the online community. Recently, Housing Rights Service further developed the online housing advice service by introducing an email advice facility to compliment the current site. Initial feedback has shown that the service has proved very successful. It is hoped that by running this in tandem with housingadviceNI, access to professional housing advice services shall be further enhanced. If you would like to get housing advice by email, please fill in our online advice form. Our average response time is 3 working days.
Email advice is suitable for general queries only. If your housing issue is complex, or you need to discuss your options with an adviser urgently, please phone Housing Rights Service's advice helpline on 028 9024 5640. Our helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 1:30pm (or 5:00pm for mortgage debt queries). Alternatively, you can visit us during the above opening hours at our Belfast office (see where we are located on Google Maps).
