There are different methods of operating Access Keys, depending on which browser you use:
- Internet Explorer users operate Access Keys by holding Alt+”Access key” and hitting Enter.
- Firefox users operate Access Keys by holding Shit+Alt+”Access key
- Chrome users operate Access Keys by holding Alt +”Access key”

Skip to main content
You can activate a Skip to Main Content link by pressing tab on your keyboard. This will allow you to tab through the main information on the page and skip through the other tabs.
Homepage
You can return to the homepage from anywhere within the site by clicking the following:
- our logo at the top right corner of the page,
- ‘home’ caption at the left end of the top horizontal menu,
- ‘home’ caption in the breadcrumb trail (top left corner of the page).
Top menu bar
The top menu bar has drop down options, which will take you into other areas of the website. If you do not use a mouse, you can activate these menus by using our Access Keys.
Site content navigation
Throughout the site, the main advice menus will appear on the left hand side of your screen. You can use these to navigate through the different topics.

Breadcrumb trail
Breadcrumb trail is located just below the top left page margin, spreading across the top part of the map image. The breadcrumb trail shows you where you are in the structure of the website. If you click on one of the entries in the crumb trail, you will be taken directly to that part of the web site.
Help with finding content
Every page of the site features a search field below the top horizontal menu. Our search will help you find key information in the site. You can also use our A-Z index to find the information you require.

Our website uses relative font sizes. You can resize the text using your browser, or by using the text '+, reset, -' icons at the top of each page. Increasing text size will not disrupt the page layout.
None of our content includes blinking text or images, and nothing on this site will cause your screen to flicker.
Images on this site are used decoratively. You will not lose out on any information by switching images off.
