Help with navigation
HomepageYou can return to homepage from anywhere within the site by clicking the following: • our logo at the top right corner of the page, • ‘home’ caption at the left end of the top horizontal menu, • ‘home’ caption in the breadcrumb trail (top left corner of the page).
Top menu barThe menu bar across the top of the page will take you to the major sections within our site. For instance, clicking on the 'Advice for…' caption in the menu will bring you into our portal section with information specifically written for Young People, Migrant Workers and Prisoners and their Families.
Site content navigationNavigation within our main content section of the site is done by using the menu panel on the left hand side of the page.
The menu has a flexible structure, which means that a list of articles in any given section will expand when you click on its top level page. Most content pages on the site will be organised in 3 or 4 levels.
When applicable, a section titled 'See also' will be displayed to the right of the content page. Entries in this panel will take you to articles on similar topic, or will offer further downloads or external links. Links to external sites will open in another browser window, while internal links will display within your current window.
Individual articles may have links or downloads embedded within the page text. These items will be bolder than the surrounding text and should display underlining when the mouse pointer hovers over the link.
Breadcrumb trailBreadcrumb trail is located just below the top left page margin, spreading across the top part of the map image. The breadcrumb trail shows you where you are in the structure of the website. If you click on one of the entries in the crumb trail, you will be taken directly to that part of the web site.
Help with finding content Every page of the site features a search field below the top horizontal menu. Our search will help you find key information in the site.
