Withdrawal of service policy Print E-mail

We may withdraw the provision of our service in the following circumstances:

•    where Housing Rights Service considers the provision of the service to an individual or agency to be contrary to the organisation’s mission and goals;

•    where the client’s actions are in breach of the organisation’s principle of equality of opportunity; where the client is violent, abusive or threatening towards any member of staff or to any visitor to it’s office;

•    where it becomes apparent that a client has been knowingly involved in making a false or fraudulent claim which may put the organisation in a position whereby it is/may be implicated in fraudulent activity;

•    where the client is not conducting themselves in a manner considered necessary for the proper management of their case (e.g. regularly not responding to correspondence, not attending for interview, where applicable not complying with requests of The Northern Ireland Legal Services Commission, withholding relevant information or failing to complete an authorisation form).

The decision to withdraw service is to be made only by Advice Services Manager or Project Manager, or in their absence by Head of Operations. The client will be informed in writing of the reason for the decision.
