Eviction of Housing Executive tenants Print E-mail

The Housing Executive will usually only evict you as a last resort. You will usually only be evicted if you break your tenancy agreement. There are different rules if you are an introductory tenant.

Contact a local advice agency if the Housing Executive are trying to evict you. An adviser may be able to help you stop the eviction, or work out your housing options.

Reasons for eviction

The Housing Executive can only end your tenancy by getting a court order. The Housing Executive will usually only be able to get a court order if you break your tenancy agreement. More arrow

Introductory tenants

The Housing Executive uses a special procedure to end your introductory tenancy if you have serious rent arrears or it believes that you, a member of your family, someone visiting your property has been guilty of antisocial behaviour. More arrow

Evicting secure tenants
