If you are unhappy with the way the Housing Executive is dealing with your grants application use the Housing Executive's complaints procedure. If the Housing Executive don't change the decision you may be able to complain to the Ombudsman or apply for a judicial review.

It is usually best to try and sort out your problems quickly and locally. Contact your local Grants Office to explain your problem. You can either telephone or write to your local Grants Office. The staff at the Grants Office should try and deal with your problem as quickly as possible.

If the Grants Office isn't able sort out the problem, you can then use the internal complaints procedure. Contact the Grants Manager for your area.

Get specialist advice if you are planning to use the Housing Executive's complaints procedure.
