Housing advice for Northern Ireland

Online advice clinics

We've started to run online advice clinics to answer your questions on housing problems. These are public Q&A sessions to help answer people's questions on different housing issues in Northern Ireland.  If you've got an idea for a Q&A session, please get in touch.

This clinic answered questions on tenants' rights to have their landlord's details, renovation grants for homeowners, the bedroom tax in Northern Ireland and overcrowding.

This clinic looked at how to prevent homelessness by using Disabled Facilities Grants, how Floating Support services can sustain tenancies, emergency services that can help homeless people and the duties of social services and the Housing Executive towards young people who are homeless.

This clinic answered questions on grants for new heating systems in private tenancies, HMO problems, housing benefit for rented properties, deposit issues, unfair terms in tenancy agreements and illegal evictions.
